Academic Details - Joules

'O' Levels:

       English Literature - grade A
       English Language - grade A
       French - grade A
       Latin - grade B
       Religious Studies - grade B
       Biology - grade B
       Mathematics - grade C
       Art - grade C
At the same time, also gained grade 1 CSE passes in Mathematics (taken just in case I failed the 'O' Level) and Art (taken because I liked the syllabus!)

'A' Levels:

       Art - grade A.
              (Primary paper, Theatrical Design: stage set and fairyfolk costumes for 'A MidSummer Night's Dream'. Secondary paper, Still Life.)

       English Literature - grade B

       French Literature - grade C

       Also gained grade B in Greek Literature in Translation 'O' Level while studying for the 'A' Levels (well, why not?) and a 'Distinction' in the OxBridge Exam (Oxford/Cambridge Entrance Examination).

       Later, I also passed course modules in Economics, Personnel Management, and Personnel Training.

Higher Education

       Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in English Studies with Philosophy and Linguistics.
       Courses included Anglo-Saxon Language and Literature, The Matter of Britain (Arthurian Myth and Legend), Folklore, The Chivalric Tradition, and Modern American Poetry, amongst other subjects.
       Final year dissertation was entitled 'Feminism in American Women's Poetry, Late 1800's to early 20^th Century'.
