Over the years I have received a great deal of help from an enormous number of people: friends, relatives, and passing acquaintances, and all deserve recognition for their genealogical work, and, of course, all have already received expression of my personal gratitude.
I would particularly like to offer my heartfelt thanks to Wendy Rakestrow - who originally piqued my curiosity beyond all bounds by laughingly warning me how addictive genealogy is. And I, fool, didn't believe her...
And without Joules, my wife, who taught me everything I needed to know about setting up a website, this site would not exist; so say a little thank-you to her before you read on.
I have a modicum of resources that may be of interest to certain researchers. Whilst I'll gladly provide information freely (as a rule), I cannot promise to be prompt - please bear in mind that I'm busily working for a living and raising a family as a labour of love!
