These sherds are of early 18th century tin-glazed pottery, and were found by W J Pountney during his excavation of pottery manufacturing remains at the site Chapel of St Anne in the Wood, in 1914. One of the sherds departs from the usual blue on white, to include decoration in green, yellow and red.
