A little of the colonnade that was moved to Portmeirion is visible to the left of the arched gateway. The large sign to the right of the tall arched entrance of the tram depot is titled Route Map of Electric Car and Motor Bus Services. The smaller sign further to the right advertises Blue Motor Taxicabs.
The photograph is believed to have been taken by Fred Viner, and the postcard published by Viner & Co., Publishers. Bath. The front carries the title "Arnos Castle & Tramways Depot, Brislington." and the reference number "1219".
