The large house on the right of the A4 Bath Road has been demolished and the site is currently occupied by a disused industrial building. On the left we can glimpse the corner of Kings Road with the section of high wall that enclosed the convent at Arnos Court.

The photograph is believed to have been taken by Fred Viner, and the postcard published by Viner & Co., Publishers. Bath. The front carries the title "Brislington, Bristol." and the reference number "121". See our notes for more information about this photographer and postcard publisher, and their work in Brislington. Earliest known picture: 25 July 1916.
