This is a rare part of the A4 Bath Road - there are plenty of elements in this photograph taken a century ago that are recognisable today.

The photograph is believed to have been taken by Fred Viner, and the postcard published by Viner & Co., Publishers. Bath. The front carries the title "Congregational Church, Brislington, Bristol" and the reference number "122". See our notes for more information about this photographer and postcard publisher, and their work in Brislington. Earliest known picture: 1 Nov 1916.
