Welcome to Valkyrie's 1998/9 Cyber City Oedo 808 Manga


Valkyrie in her own words...
       A busy mother of two with a day job, who likes to draw in my spare time, such as it is!
       Drawing is in my blood, I have a family of talented people, my grandmother, mother, brother and some of my cousins have produced some wonderful work in a range of mediums... I have always drawn but never thought I was much good at it. Gave it up for 10 years or so, then suddenly got inspired again, so now I'm trying to make up for lost time and skill building!
       I normally draw with graphite pencils, most often a mechanical pencil. I have found digital painting in photoshop and wacom tablet to be most rewarding for colouring my work and so that is mostly what you'll see in my online work. I will do commission work, so tempt me with some interesting ideas and I will see what I can do. I do fantasy work with a small smattering of sci-fi!

A note from Joules... I'm honoured to be permitted to host this manga. It fascinates me, not least because it shows very clearly how Valkyrie improved over the course of drawing it, from the relatively simple black and white drawings of the first few pages through to the gorgeous, complex, vivid colour images of the latter half. An inspiration to budding artists everywhere!

And the sex scenes are terrific!

The main character is Sengoku. I suppose I ought to mention that he is extremely foul-mouthed!
