Mira, in her own words...
My name is Eva Bolinder, but ever since I stepped into the virtual
world of the Internet, I've come to prefer being called the name I
chose for the virtual sphere - Mira. (Silly how one's own name always
seems so dull, isn't it?)
It was all because of a sci-fi series called
LEXX - I dared to stumble into a land I nowadays definitely want to spend
more time in.
Anyways, I was born in the northern part of Sweden 19 years from now,
and I'm still residing in the northern wilderness of Sweden. That is,
some kilometres outside the city of Vännäs (which really is too small
to be called a city), that lies some kilometres from the better known
city (at least among Swedes!) Umeå that lies some 800 kms north of
Sweden's capital Stockholm.
I'm very much a linguistic kind of person, but despite that fact I study
a highly scientifically stuffed 'program'. Still, I didn't know quite what
I wanted to have as a profession, and this course gives access to
studies in a lot of different professions. And some language courses were
there from the beginning of the program. But I'll always be a maths
heretic. This last fact makes me draw elves and other ladies in
my maths and other not too exciting subjects' notebooks (instead of doing the work!)
Another passion in my life, other than drawing and reading (preferably
books from the Fantasy genre) is clothes. It's more of a modest hobby
of mine though, when you compared to how many sketches and actual drawings I have made during the years, to how many actual creations of clothing I have
sewn.
Oh, and I mustn't forget, I adore cute black-and-white zebras! Sadly, nowadays I have little time to go horseriding like I used to do in my younger days... ride over open fields with the wind sweeping through my hair, and that tingling feeling of flying in the stomach, it's magical... and probably the closest experience one will ever get of being a centaur.
