Waaaay back when The Zone membership was in double figures I made Lutra a rash promise. I told her that if the Zone Membership ever reached 200 I'd do a family portrait...
At the time of posting membership stands at 217, with 10 applications pending. Lutra now wants to know what I'm going to do when membership reaches 500...
Imagine this...
The royal photographer spent two hours trying to photograph The Family, as they're known, and this was the best he could come up with. (He's since moved to Budoushu, deciding it's a safer place to live…)
I've posted two versions here: the first is 750X518 pixels and 157K, the other 1000X691 pixels and 426K. The second is much better quality, of course, but will take longer to load. I've also provided a chart (700X484, 46K) with the names of each of the individuals in the portrait, since it's the first time I've drawn some of the brats.
The chronology of the pic is a little off - 'dittsu and 'jiita would be walking by the time Mahrayne's child is born - but for the sake of the overall appearance of the portrait I've drawn it this way. I'll also apologise a little: I really can't draw children very well at all!
But it was fun to do. Hope you all think it was worth the wait!
